The evolution of early childhood education has transformed how adults and parents view the importance of offering stimulating and exciting opportunities to the very young. The idea came to America during the Industrial Revolution with “infant schools” set up in churches, factories, and private homes to care for the young while parents were working. Since 1926, the establishment of improving the well-being of young children and servicing children from birth to age of eight came about and continues to grow tremendously in our communities.
The program includes 26 sessions that are offered in Spanish and English to assist enrollees with marketing skills, accounting, taxes, contracts, liability issues and succession planning. The goal of our project is to help clients establish their business; by doing so they are able to create new businesses and jobs for others in the community and expand childcare slots.
Upon completion, we present follow-up trainings to help our clients maintain their license such as: 15-Hour Health and Safety, 30-Hour Child abuse and First Aid/CPR/AED Adult and Infant Training.

This industry has a great impact on our community as it allows opportunities for self-employment. The number of children under five is expected to increase at a faster rate and as a result families require child services while they’re at work.
